Macstab GmbH ('we', 'our', or 'us') is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Macstab GmbH.

Data Controller

Macstab GmbH is the data controller for the personal information we collect about you.

Data Collection

We collect personal data when you use our contact form, schedule a call via our booking calendar, sign up for optional updates or newsletters, communicate with us by email or phone, or visit our website (via cookies and similar technologies, where you have given consent).

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds under Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • Consent: When you have given clear consent for us to process your data for specific purposes
  • Contract: When processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you
  • Legal obligation: When we must process your data to comply with legal requirements
  • Legitimate interests: When processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests

Use of Data

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, and communicate with you.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, typically 3 years unless a longer retention period is required by law.

International Data Transfers

We may transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). When we do, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy.

We work with the following third-party service providers (processors) who process personal data on our behalf: Host Europe GmbH as our hosting provider (EU-based servers and infrastructure), Google Ireland Limited for company email accounts (@macstab.com), calendar and video meetings (Google Calendar and Google Meet), and Google Ireland Limited for web analytics (Google Analytics). We have concluded data processing agreements with these providers and, where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We use Google Analytics to analyze website usage. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects anonymized usage data. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement with Google (Date: September 16, 2025). Data processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). IP addresses are anonymized (IP anonymization enabled). Data transfer to the USA only occurs with appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).

Withdrawal of Consent

You can withdraw your consent to data processing at any time with effect for the future. Open the Cookie Settings via the button on this page or send an email to privacy@macstab.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
